My Dad introduced me to remote control planes probably before I could walk. I still remember at kindergarten, any chance I got with some timber and nails, I'd build a plane. My parents ended up with a shed full of scrap timber bits in all sorts of plane shapes. As I got older the planes started to get bigger and they even actually flew! I learnt to fly remote control gliders by taking my newly constructed 2 channel glider over to an empty paddock and throwing it around. I graduated to a bungee launch system and spent hours and hours flying the wings off all types of 2 channel gliders.
